Since 1958 youth from Stark County, Northeast Ohio and all over the United States have been attending camp and harvesting the lifetime benefits of an outdoor experience. Our 1,100 acre woodland playground offers a colorful array of programs, activities and excitement for everyone at camp.
We are a traditional overnight residential camp for boys and girls ages 7 to 16. From the time they enter through the gate, our campers are engulfed in activities such as archery, boating, swimming, hiking and crafts. Equine campers experience all of the wonders of traditional camp, in addition to learning the fundumentals of horsemanship each day. Our camp values of caring, fairness, respect, responisbility, citzenship and trustworthiness shape the programming and are the foundation for training our staff. Our carefully selected staff help campers enjoy the enriching atmosphere that cabin life provides and guide campers to play outside with others and with nature.
Camp is now a part of the Canton Community! Our winter office is located in the Corporate Service Center of the YMCA of Central Stark County.
